About LifeWell
LifeWell is one record for a whole life, built and maintained by one developer. It began with an ordinary problem: a doctor asked when a symptom started, the answer was scattered across a notes app, a photo timestamp and a message to a sibling, and pulling it together took the entire appointment. Every piece had been written down; none of the pieces knew about each other. This page explains the reasoning behind keeping one record instead of six, where the data actually lives, what a solo project means in practice for someone trusting it, and — plainly — the things a health-shaped app is often assumed to do that this one does not.

Entries are written to the device first and synced afterwards. Nothing is shared with another person until you choose it, and everything can be exported or deleted from inside the app.

Is my record private?
Nothing is shared with another person until you choose it, item by item, and every choice can be taken back. There is no feed, no public profile and no way for another user to find you.
What happens if I stop using it?
Nothing is deleted for inactivity. When you want out, export everything you entered and delete the account from inside the app — both are ordinary features, not a request you have to email in.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes, for some of it. Water, mood, steps, cycle days and symptoms are written to your device first and sync when a connection returns. Everything else — a new medication, a share, an appointment — needs a connection, and says so at the moment you save rather than failing quietly.
Is there an iPhone app?
Not today. LifeWell runs in any modern browser and as an Android app. An iOS build needs an Apple developer account that does not exist yet, so there is no date to give.
Can I use it for someone I care for?
You can keep a child's record inside your own and share specific things with another adult. There is no full carer mode with its own permissions yet.
Who can I ask about all this?
The same person who built it, through the contact page. Expect a few days rather than the same afternoon, and a real answer rather than a ticket number.
