LifeWell plans
LifeWell has three plans β Free, Pro and Family β and Free is a real plan rather than a trial that expires. No feature is removed on Free and no countdown runs against it; what changes between the tiers is scale, so the numbers that move are how many people your record may hold, how many accounts one payment covers, and how much room your photos and files have. Nothing you have written is ever deleted because a paid period ended: an account that steps back down to Free keeps everything it recorded, can still read it, and can still export all of it. You can pay in a browser, where you transfer the money and tell us and a person applies the plan, or subscribe inside the Android app through Google Play at Playβs own price.
What people use it for
One person keeping their own record
Free covers a single account with the whole product in it β every tracker, every calculator, the notes, the memories and the export. The ceiling that arrives first is usually the number of people you hold records for, which is what Pro lifts. Nothing about the app is withheld until you pay for it.
A record that has grown past one person
Once you are keeping appointments for a parent, milestones for a child and your own readings in one account, the people count matters more than any feature does. Pro raises it and adds a read-only share and a scheduled export, so somebody else can be shown a view without being handed the account.
A household on one subscription
Family covers several accounts rather than several profiles inside one, and that distinction is the point: each person signs in as themselves, and nobody can read anybody else's record unless it is explicitly shared. It is the shape you want once the people you keep records for are old enough to keep their own.
Deciding whether to pay for another period
The question a pricing page usually dodges is what stopping actually costs you. Here it costs the headroom and nothing else: the account returns to the Free limits on a date you can see in advance, every entry stays readable, and the full export still works. You cannot add past the Free ceiling again until you pay for another period, and that is the whole consequence.
How it works
- Start on Free β Sign in with Google and the account is on Free immediately. No card, no trial period and no countdown β Free is a plan you can stay on rather than one that runs out.
- Meet a ceiling, and be told which one β Limits are enforced by the server, so the app can tell you the truth about where you stand rather than guessing from a number it cached earlier.
- Pay the way that suits you β In a browser you transfer the money to one of the accounts on the page and tell us, with a receipt if you have one. In the Android app you subscribe through Google Play, at the price Play sets in your own currency. Both give the same plan on the same account.
- The plan is applied to your account β It is applied by hand rather than by an automatic checkout, so it is not instant. The page shows that a payment has been reported and is waiting, rather than leaving you guessing.
- It runs to a date, then steps down β A payment made in a browser buys a period: nothing renews by itself, and on that date the account returns to Free unless you choose to pay for another one. A Play subscription renews until you cancel it in Play.
- Step down without losing anything β Everything already recorded stays, stays readable and stays exportable. Content over the Free limit becomes read-only rather than being deleted.
Questions
What happens to my record if I stop paying?
It stays. The account returns to the Free limits, which means you cannot add a new person or upload past the Free allowance until you pay for another period β but nothing already recorded is deleted, hidden or held back, everything stays readable, and the full export still works.
Is Free a trial?
No, and there is deliberately no countdown either. Free is a plan you can stay on indefinitely, and every feature of the product is available on it. The limits are about scale β how many people, how much storage β rather than about locking features away behind a payment.
Why is the price different in the Android app?
Because it is Googleβs price. Buying inside the app goes through Playβs billing, in your own currency, and Play takes a share of it. Buying in a browser is a transfer straight to us. Both give you exactly the same plan on the same account, and you never need both.
Does a paid plan renew automatically, and are payments refunded?
It depends which way you paid. A payment made in a browser buys a period and nothing renews by itself: on the date that period ends the account steps back down to Free unless you choose to pay for another one, so there is nothing to cancel and no next charge to stop. A subscription bought through Google Play is a real subscription β it renews until you cancel it, and you cancel it in Play, which keeps the plan running until the period you have already paid for ends. Payments already made are not refunded either way, and the period you paid for is never shortened by deciding not to continue.
Does LifeWell sell my data or show me advertising?
No. There is no advertising in the app, nothing is sold to anybody, and nothing is handed to anybody else to train their model. Subscriptions are the only revenue, which is the honest reason limits exist at all. LifeWell does reserve the right to use content from free accounts to improve and train its own features; content in a paid plan is not used that way without your explicit consent.
Is the difference between the plans about features or about size?
Size. Every tracker, calculator, note, memory and export is on Free. What a paid tier raises is how many people the record may hold, how many accounts one subscription covers and how much space photos and files may take, plus a read-only share and a scheduled export on the paid tiers.
Where do the prices and limits on this page come from?
From the same plans table the server reads when it decides whether a write is allowed. The page is rendered from that registry rather than from a hand-written comparison table, so it cannot understate what is actually enforced or quote a price that has since moved.
Tips
- Export before any change of plan. It costs one tap, it works on every tier, and it is the difference between a record and a hope.
- Whichever way you pay, it is the same plan on the same account β there is never a reason to buy it twice.
- The people count is the ceiling most accounts meet first. Storage is usually second, and only once photos start arriving.
- Letting a plan run out and deleting your account are different things. A plan ending leaves the account and its whole record exactly where they are.
- A payment reported in a browser is applied by hand, so allow for a gap β usually hours β between paying and the limits moving. A Play subscription applies as soon as Google confirms it.
