Wellness journey
A wellness journey in LifeWell is a long change broken into weeks, with a check-in for each one. Track your wellness progress week by week with phase-specific insights, milestone markers, and personalized guidance. Whether you are tracking pregnancy, a fitness transformation, or a general health improvement plan, the Wellness Journey feature keeps you oriented and motivated throughout. The phase content is general reference for the stage you are at, never guidance about you specifically, and the week count is arithmetic from a start date you set. Missing a week leaves a gap you can fill in later.
What people use it for
Following a pregnancy
Pregnant individuals tracking development week by week and knowing what to expect at each appointment.
Recovering after birth
Postpartum parents monitoring their recovery and the baby's development simultaneously.
Working a structured programme
Someone beginning a structured fitness or weight management program who needs week-by-week structure.
How it works
- Choose the journey โ Set your wellness journey type: pregnancy, postpartum recovery, fitness program, or general health improvement.
- Set the start date โ The app calculates your current week or phase based on your start date and goal.
- Read the week โ Each week surfaces phase-specific content: what to expect, what to track, and what milestones are coming.
- Log the check-in โ Log your weekly check-in โ a short reflection on energy, mood, symptoms, and progress.
- See the timeline โ Review a visual timeline showing completed weeks, current position, and upcoming phases.
Questions
Can I track multiple wellness journeys at once?
Yes. You can have active journey trackers running in parallel โ for example, a pregnancy journey and a personal fitness goal โ and switch between them in the app.
What if I miss a weekly check-in?
You can log a check-in for any past week. The timeline will show the entry at its correct position, so your record remains complete even if you catch up later.
Tips
- Set your journey start date accurately even if you are starting mid-journey. The week calculations depend on it, and going back to correct the date later is more disruptive than taking two minutes to be precise now.
- Do your weekly check-in at the same time each week โ Sunday evening works well for many people. Consistency makes the data more comparable and makes the habit stick without deliberate effort.
- Read the phase content for the next week in advance, not just the current week. Knowing what to expect reduces the anxiety of the unknown, which is itself a meaningful wellness benefit.
- Share your journey milestones with your partner or a close friend using the Partner Sharing feature. External acknowledgment of milestones โ however small โ meaningfully reinforces continuation behavior.
- If your journey goes off-track (illness, life disruption, a week you would rather forget), log it anyway with a brief note. The honest record of a difficult week is more useful than a gap in the timeline.
