Chats
Chats in LifeWell are private conversations with people already in your record, held where the thing you are discussing lives. Send private messages to your partner, family members, or care team within LifeWell. Share health updates, baby photos, or coordinate caregiving tasks without switching to another messaging app. Both people need a LifeWell account, so it does not replace your phone's messaging. It is not end-to-end encrypted and should not be treated as though it were: messages travel encrypted and are stored in your account, which the service can technically read.
What people use it for
Coordinating baby care
Partners coordinating baby care schedules and sharing feeding or diaper updates.
Updating a relative
Sharing health progress reports with a family member or caregiver.
Working with a care partner
Coordinating medication schedules and appointment reminders with a care partner.

Questions
Who can I chat with?
You can chat with anyone in your LifeWell contacts who also has a LifeWell account. Both parties need to be registered users.
Are messages encrypted?
In transit, yes. Messages are stored in your LifeWell account and only the participants in a conversation can read them. This is not end-to-end encryption.
